Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Aquarium Wonder uses, why, who receives it and the choices you have.

Who we are

Aquarium Wonder is made by OmHuman AB ("OmHuman", "we", "us"), Brunnsgatan 3 b, 611 32 Nyköping, Sweden, organisation number 559585-3424. OmHuman AB is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

The short version

• You don't need an account to play, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number in the game.
• Your progress, settings and collection are saved on your device, not with us.
• We don't sell your personal data.
• The free game shows ads. Ad partners use device identifiers, and we ask for your permission before ads are personalised where the law requires it.
• Aquarium Club members don't see ads.

Data that stays on your device

The game saves your levels, settings, hints, purchases, Daily Puzzle history and the sea friends you have found on your phone or tablet. This data isn't sent to us. Deleting the game deletes it.

Reminders, such as the one for the Daily Puzzle, are local notifications that your device schedules by itself. No data is sent to a server for them. You can turn them off under Settings in the game or in your device settings.

Data we and our partners process

Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. The store tells the game what you bought, so that we can deliver it and restore it later.

Ads

The free version of the game shows ads, including videos you can choose to watch for hints. They are delivered by advertising networks and an ad mediation service that picks which network shows each ad. To do that, these partners may collect:

• your device's advertising ID (IDFA on iPhone and iPad, Advertising ID on Android)
• your IP address and the rough location it shows, such as country or city
• your device model, operating system, language and the game's version
• which ads you saw and tapped

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before ads are personalised. On iPhone and iPad we ask for permission before tracking, and if you decline, ads aren't personalised based on tracking. You can change your choice at any time under Settings in the game. You can also reset or turn off the advertising ID in your device settings.

Measuring our own ads

We advertise Aquarium Wonder on Facebook and Instagram. To learn which ads bring new players, the game sends events such as installing the game, finishing the tutorial, reaching certain levels and making a purchase to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, directly or through a measurement partner. This only happens if you have allowed it, and on iPhone and iPad only as far as your tracking choice allows.

Game analytics

To see how levels are played, the game sends an analytics provider a random player ID that isn't linked to your name, the levels you play, how long they take, the hints you use, your device model, operating system, game version and country. We use it to balance the difficulty and fix problems, never to show you ads.

Who receives data

• Apple and Google, who handle purchases and subscriptions.
• Advertising networks and the ad mediation service, for the ads in the free game.
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and any measurement partner, for measuring our own ads.
• Our analytics provider.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, and a buyer if the game or our company is sold.

Our partners may only use the data for the purposes in this policy or as their own privacy policies describe. Email us if you want a list of the partners we use right now.

Some partners process data outside the EU and EEA, for example in the United States. When they do, the transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long data is kept

• Data on your device stays until you delete the game.
• Analytics data is kept for no more than 24 months and then deleted.
• Ad and measurement partners keep data according to their own policies.

Children

Aquarium Wonder is made for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or move your personal data, object to how it is used or limit it, and withdraw any consent you have given. Withdrawing a consent doesn't affect what was done before. To use your rights, email us. We don't know who you are, so include your device's advertising ID if you can, and we'll reply within a month.

If you live in the EU, you can also complain to a data protection authority. In Sweden that is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.

If you live in a US state with a privacy law, you can opt out of having your data used for targeted ads by turning off personalised ads under Settings in the game or limiting ad tracking on your device. We don't sell personal data for money.

Security

Data sent from the game travels over encrypted connections. We only work with partners that protect the data they receive.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how your data is used in a significant way, we'll also tell you in the game.
